tan solo fuera "Quasi una fantasia"

the last couple of nights spent in Philadelphia Bijan, from Tehran, distinguished the grimness inside and presented this and several more compositions. a gesture that will be deeply cherished.

hence, this Beethoven sonata goes out to his disheartening mind and to those troubled by the shadows that the la vie brings more often than one can bear.

this 'Moonlight Sonata' is as exquisite as you. exactly like the moonlight that once shone bright. exactly how you are remembered. the dimness caused by the cloudy heavens of the 956, 215 and now 305 seem to shadow me everywhere i go. dark clouds are rolling everywhere. raining.

Piano Sonata No. 14 in C minor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27, No. 2, byLudwig van Beethoven,

17. Life By The Drop - S.R.V.

whaat up?
been playing this on the lapper, mp3 and in the car for the past several weeks.
his voice with the acoustic guitar resonate deep feelings; perhaps more than i would like.
however, i maintain and am pleased to deliver this weeks blues jam.

Exert Your Enemy

pressure is a funny thing, it changes people. perhaps it is this place, it seems to tear people apart. ive been to this place three times in the past. the heat is unbearable, the humidity is very prevalent as well. aside from that FT Bragg, home of the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School is the birthplace of todays modern Green Beret, the place is crowded with these motherfuckers. back to the point, been here for five days already and its been tiresome. although i must add its also been liberating. i find myself cursing loudly at anything and everything, it is awesome. i do believe i have become a semi bipolar sumbitch. Mott Lake looks amazing at this time of day. we're set up on this bank, white sand and tall trees, i do believe i have a picture. -fast forward to today, sittin there under the shade and having a smoke. little did i know about the events that were about to unfold. supposed friends became enemies, allegiances were formed. this is what happens when you include two lazy and i mean lazy females who despite their rise to sergeant have not the slightest clue of the responsibilities entailed. for seventeen days readers, seventeen days the crucible lasted... to be continued.

The Art of War

Every year, for two weeks, soldiers, marines, airmen and seamen supplemental to the US Armed Forces get together and play war games. Limits are challenged, opponents are bested, and cohesiveness grows. This was a very trying time for a little Detachment out of the famed town of Rio Grande City. Having its leadership cut off and replaced by a selfish, indecissive commander we drive on. In this upcoming series we will dig deep into the psyche of this man and his minions. we will make an attempt to understand their impulse to gain power while being useless at what they do. how do these worthless people end up in such favorable positions? there is a reasonable explanation for it mind you. charisma and raunchy slutiness will be recurring themes during the next few days so stay tuned readers, there are some really interesting posts coming up in this series my friend the Devil Dog (Devil for short) aptly helped me name "The Art of WAR: Annual Training at FT. Bragg"

BTW ill be honest with you guys for a second, the whole time i was there i kept singing this jam to myself. Im Going Down by Freddie King, every time i saw a chopper, every time i needlesly sped in a hummer, hell even that time i jumped all those puddles on the atv (cheers to the devil dog!) i was playing this in my head.... please enjoy while performing some serious mischief! K to the MOTHERFUCKIN P!

There's a brand new angel...

...a brand new angel with an old violin.

indeed it rained last night and the stars shone bright. didnt know what was what, but girasol is no longer here.* no more posts indefinitely. music is power.

RAY

Six years ago today Ray Charles Robinson passed. I remember watching his pepsi commercials as a little kid. I also enjoyed his songs in movies or shows very much because they were so catchy. remember in the sandlot when benny hit the guts out of the ball? well i remember ray charles singing america the beautiful. superb.

A pioneer in the genre of soul he made his own style by fusing rhythm and blues, gospel, and THE BLUES, which was what drew me in. his incredible story was one of legends.

here's to his greatness. it is still very much appreciated. salud.

15. Honey Bee

WHAAAAAAT UP??
It’s 6:30, sitting with Jack on the porch of Chamounix Mansion with a breathtaking forested view all-around. know you would enjoy it.*
Im talking everything green with trees as high as eight story buildings. Can barely see the canopy.

Here listening to a random blues play list and Muddy Waters’ Honey Bee came up. As I sip this Tennessee fermented sour mash, the notes seem to carry the mind to a place with many emotions, it‘s indescribable. wouldn’t want to anyway. With every guitar string pluck , the soul sails on just like the song says.

“Sailing on and on.

I don’t mind you sailing, but please don’t sail so long. All right little honey bee?”

Proud to bring some Waters into Mofo’s Bar & Grill. Enjoy and remember to always drink responsibly.

Oh yeah, been coughing my lungs out for the past four days. See rant "a change is gonna come......oh yes it will," for more info.

La Leyenda Continua

still undefeated...from culiacan sinaloa mexico... damas y caballeros.... julio cesaaar chaaaavez juuuuuuuunioor!
having followed his career so far as a young pugilist, it was a goose-bump delight to watch this cat punch his way to his first championship by defeating zbik for the WBC middleweight title yesterday. body shot after body shot payed dividends through eight rounds although zbik did last till the last round. helluva round i might add. the announcers kept saying it was like watching his father fight back in the day.

side note: julio cesar chavez senior AKA El Gran Campeon Mexicano, will be inducted into the boxing hall of fame this week. esta rola va dedicada al el. julio cesar chavez - ramon ayala

14. Gravity

I thought I’d throw this tune into the playlist for those in need of a more mainstream intro to the blues. This was one of the first blues songs that started my gravitation towards the genre.
Although initially I fell in love with the studio version, I prefer this live one because it’s slower and of course because of the fervent solo, which hits the spot.
I wasn’t a big fan of Mayer when he first hit the scene, but since his emergence as a blues player with his new band "Trio", Ive enjoyed his stuff.

Bottoms up.

13. Black Magic Woman

Whaaaat up…yo? ? ?
This week’s blues jam is none other than Fleetwood Mac’s original Black Magic Woman. Oh yes. For those that don’t know, this ISNT Carlos Santan’s song although his cover did put it on the map. ABRAXAS BABY. all day.

I Love the solo in this jam. Makes me want to dance and snap my fingers to it. That’s how soothing it feels. if the solo doesn't get you jamming, im sure the tempo accel at the end will.

I too once had a black magic woman. I was so blinded I couldn’t see. I turned my back on her and since then she’s put a spell on me. Turned my heart into stone.

Shaq Fu

Whaaaat up?

BREAKING BACKBOARDS & SMASHING ON FOOLS!
First and foremost, one of my top three favorite basketball players of ALL time announced his retirement today so a double post is in hand on this WHAT UP WEDNESDAY.
i was bummed out when i heard it on the news today. Still, his game will never be forgotten, matched or replicated. I give props to those who transcend and Shaq did that. Pity on those with short memories because the Diesel used to bring it like nothing ever witnessed on the hardwood. the most dominant force probably ever. people might say what about MJ? Jordan dominated as well, but you could at least throw triple teams or run schemes to slow him down. For Shaq on the other hand it didnt matter how many dudes you put on him. go watch his highlights and youll see this behemoth of a man take scrubs for rides when he'd go to the basket. there was just no answer for him. You might as well of gotten out of his way when he got the ball down low because he would either knock you on you ass with an elbow or spin around you for a devastating flush. Cheers to the real Superman.
BTW I strongly recommend the movie Blue Chips. Hell of a movie.

"We're not worried about the Sacramento queens. Write it down, take a picture, send it to 'em. I don't care," he said of the Sacramento Kings back in 2001 to reporters asking him about the dangers the Kings posed to the Lakers repeat.

how impressive is this first career triple double stat line: 24 points 28 boards and 15 swats. SHIEET.
