14. Gravity

I thought I’d throw this tune into the playlist for those in need of a more mainstream intro to the blues. This was one of the first blues songs that started my gravitation towards the genre.

Although initially I fell in love with the studio version, I prefer this live one because it’s slower and of course because of the fervent solo, which hits the spot.

I wasn’t a big fan of Mayer when he first hit the scene, but since his emergence as a blues player with his new band "Trio", Ive enjoyed his stuff.
