a change is gonna come......oh yes it will.

ive never felt this feeling before in life and i doubt neither have you.

we've all been sick scores of times throughout our life. try to remember what the routine is? talk to your mother, father, siblings or friends about it? i know you don't call them or make it a point to tell them your sick, but they just know because theyre around you.

here's where shit hit the wall for me:

a month ago my defenses were low because of some lingering spirits in my body.

althought i felt disgusted and fatigued i had to suck it up.
believe me, the little things that you take for granted when you are sick like a sip of water or a semi comfortable seat to help ease your body are the things i will forever look forward to the next time im ill.

for five days it went on and no one knew how unwell i was.

finally, i got through it but the thing that really got to me was that during my hell on earth i was completely alone. no one found out i was sick. i hid from people.i sneezed, coughed and groaned away from everyone(funny, isnt that what people are suppose to do?). i pretended nothing was wrong.

its a peculiar feeling to know you are alone with NO ONE to care for you.

to make a long rant short, i cant explain the feeling that i felt but i hope some day you will go through it so you can feel what it is to live. i think that it's only when you feel debilitating pain or true happiness that you know your human. relish both. perhaps its my negative ego talking right now but next time your sick i dare you to keep it a secret. humor me........or yourself. matter of fact, ill be here for you.

btw motherfuckers, this is my main man sam cooke singing bring it on home to me. i put the live and legendary version as well as the studio version. grown folk music yall, enjoy.

  1. know the feeling, its not my way to share when the booze isnt present but damn its such an ugly feeling when youre hundreds of miles from a familiar place to rest. having to do things for yourself u usually dont do and you hope the sickness leaves you quick cause you dont want to be stranded in a distant place by yourself. this one really struck home man, but its good to remember these things
