LIVE REQUEST HOUR! Joe Bonamassa


the fact that Mr Joe Bonamassa is such a big fish in the blues community should be no surprise considering that he grew up feeding on all the greats. but that doesnt just mean he can play B.B. King by heart, this guy shreds like a moonshining devil on an acid trip, whoa! "So Many Roads" and "Just Got Paid", both off the "BBC Live Special" album from 2008. coming up next is the first edition of the live request hour! just remember to "hang your head low and let the guitar move your soul." big shout out to Coñazo e Cuñi and thanks for your participation; im definitely a fan now. we expect to see more of you at the bar!

    cant say im not impressed by his rendition of ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid". it seems hes in as much love with it as i am. check out Mastodon's version on the "Covered" album by MTV. yes i have that one too.

    You need to listen to Joe's Blues Deluxe album. No bullshit, just some of the best blues covers I've ever heard. That man can play it all and with true feeling. Recommended songs: Blues Deluxe, Wild About You Baby, Woke Up Dreaming

    i agree, i have yet to acquire a significant amount of material though. i can also tell you that so impressed am i with his skill, i plan to add him to the playlist in the near future.
